Features:
Rosin Arc:
- The "Bump" heats up quickly helping the fire to grow as the heat and smoke naturally follow the back wall. After a short while, the bump is heated and will collect, radiate and reflect the heat even after the fire has subsided.
- The flat surfaces and angles of the bump, designed to radiate maximum heat into the home, also aid in completing combustion as smoke and gasses mix with air at the top of the flame. This helps to keep the chimney clean.
- The return or top of the bump allows elbow room to complete the smoke chamber.
Proprietary Refractory:
- Collects heats then reflects and radiates the heat both during and after the fire.
- No shards of metal the get cut on.
- High strength yet more resistant to thermal cycling and thermal shock.
Thickness:
- Quali-Fyre is the thickest pre-cast firebox on the market! More than twice as thick in most places. This means more thermal mass, strength, durability and therefore quality for the homeowner. But, this quality construction is easy to sell and it means peace of mind for you.
Hinge Joints:
- Allow Quali-Fyre to adjust to various widths and depths.
- Applications include openings as small as 19"H x 19W" up to as large as 36"H x 56"W at a depth of 20"!
